Driving on the beach

I just got some sand paddle tires for my Summit in the mail a few days ago. Here is some footage that my Dad shot while I drove. The sand is very hard work for the car to drive through. It was much slower than normal, the batteries lasted about 2/3 of the usual time, and the motor was extremely hot. Ideally, when you are done running, you can touch the motor for 5 seconds without hurting yourself. After my first run in the sand, I could touch it for almost 2 seconds. In the video it is at Goleta beach.
